Barbara is the Head Legal Counsel of Credibilis Unlimited since its inception. In her legal practice she has advised international and domestic companies, ranging from financial institutions, to Hospitality and Educational institutions on complex transactions and tasks. These have included advising privately owned banks and manufacturing and advertising companies listing on the Ghana Stock Exchange and a host of clients on commercial agreements, regulatory and compliance issues. . Barbara is passionate about justice and providing fair and appropriate legal support to customers, businesses and communities.
Barbara’s current practice focuses mainly on a General Practice with particular expertise in Corporate/Commercial law and litigation. She advises a range of clients, both domestic and international, from big multi-nationals to smaller start-up businesses on a wide range of transactions.
Barbara focuses also on alternative dispute resolution with emphasis on arbitration and mediation. She continues to represent the companies including financial institutions such as pension, insurance and reinsurance companies in several high profile litigation in the trial and appellate courts in Ghana in areas including corporate governance, company law, employment, real estate and other commercial contracts. She also leads a team of adept lawyers and non- legal staff in company secretarial practice and keeps all her clients compliant in regulatory and statutory matters.
Education
Barbara studied law at the University of Ghana. She obtained her professional certificate from the Ghana School of Law. She is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK
